Intro/New Features

Features on the M5 Pro include ShotBoost fingers, an ivory Pro Palm, and a new AMP cuff.

External Material

The gloves are constructed with a Pro Lite tex and cable mesh shell exterior, providing a combination of durability and breathability. The Pro Lite tex material offers excellent resistance against abrasions and wear, while the polyester mesh increases the glove’s durability and flexibility. The mesh construction allows for better airflow, promoting ventilation and reducing moisture buildup inside the glove. This feature helps keep the player's hands cool and comfortable during intense gameplay.

Finger Design & Protection

The new Shotboost finger design incorporates three-piece segmentation on the middle and ring fingers, allowing for improved stick contact during shooting. This design optimizes hand position on the stick, ultimately maximizing power and control in every shot.

Backhand Protection

The glove utilizes dual-density foam, strategically layered to offer optimal impact absorption and cushioning against heavy impacts. The backhand also incorporates Hyperlite HD and PE inserts, further enhancing its protective capabilities without compromising on flexibility.

Thumb Design

The glove features a 2-piece flex thumb design, providing improved dexterity and grip. The thumb design is part of the Shotboost finger system, which optimizes hand position on the stick, promoting better connection and generating a stronger shot.

Cuff Design

The molded cuff roll offers a sleek appearance while maintaining structural integrity. The gloves use an AMP cuff, which feels similar to how the cuff on a lacrosse glove works—no matter your movements, the cuff is designed to move with you, keeping you covered at all times without sacrificing mobility.

Palm Material & Gussets

The glove features an ivory Pro Palm, known for its durability and excellent stick feel. The palm is further reinforced with a full overlay, providing increased longevity and enhancing the glove's overall longevity. Additionally, the comfort stretch gussets allow for optimal hand mobility, ensuring a secure yet flexible fit.

Liner

The Bauer M5 Pro hockey gloves are equipped with a Hyper Sense finger liner, providing a comfortable and lightweight feel. This liner offers a nice, natural sensation, allowing players to stay focused on the game without distraction. The gloves also feature Thermomax in the backhand pad, which is designed to manage moisture and keep players dry during intense gameplay. It is constructed with moisture-wicking materials that help to draw sweat away from the body and accelerate evaporation, promoting a more comfortable and odour-free experience.
