Intro & New Features
Unleash your potential on the ice with the Warrior Covert Krypto Hockey Stick. Its Edge Taper maximizes power and quick release, while Minimus Carbon UD construction ensures lightweight durability. The O.G. Shaft Shape offers consistent feel and control for superior stickhandling, shooting, and passing precision.
Stick Profile
The Krypto Pro is part of Warrior's Covert line, making it a low kick hockey stick. Rather than empowering shots by storing more energy higher up in the shaft, low kick sticks excel at releasing the puck quickly off the blade by bending lower and closer to the hosel. The Covert line specifically is known for having a lower kick point than standard low kick sticks, which allows for an even quicker release.
Shaft Construction
For increased toughness, the stick uses Warrior's Minimus Carbon UD unidirectional weave, coupled with their T. 122 construction. T. 122 is a high-grade carbon construction that features the latest lightweight fiber technology and epoxy resin formulation to provide lower weight with increased strength.
The angular edge taper design derives flex energy through the hosel that magnifies power and quick releases. The unique geometry improves response and is more stable and plays stronger.
Blade Construction/Stiffness
The blade is constructed of Fuelcore which is a lightweight polymer blade that enhances puck feel and makes shots pop. Minimus Carbon 3 composite layering around the core us redesigned to be stronger, reducing breakdown of materials in the blade and increasing durability.
Grip
The Krypto features an O.G. shaft shape with flat side walls and rounded corners that provides a consistent feel and control for stickhandling, shooting, and passing.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length
The Warrior Covert Krypto Senior Hockey Stick comes in the following blade patterns: W28, W02, W03, and W05.
W28 is an aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.
W03 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. This curve may suffer a little bit on the backhand.
W02 is a deep heel curve with a square toe. It's great for big shots and one-timers, and its open configuration makes raising the puck easier.
W05 is an open, medium-sized heel curve that specializes in quick releases and accurate passes.
